Wow. Wow on steroids! My terrier mix dog was wonderful in spirit, and now she's also wonderful in behavior! We could never take Sadie out in public, and it was always chaotic when people came to visit; excitement overload, barking, jumping, licking, or pulling on the leash. It just got easier to leave her at home which wasn't good for her or her people.
Her spirit is still joyful, but she obeys, has impulse control and is so much calmer with guests and distractions.

After spending lots of money on fly by night dog trainers with lousy results I found Theresa while at a local park where she was training her own dogs. I watched intently as she did numerous routines with her boys and was blown away with the level of obedience and control. . It was then I did my first lesson with my own dog and Theresa, where the results were instant. We were out of options with our Louisiana Catahoula. He was nearing age two and his behavior was out of control. The final straw was his aggression towards strangers and his "want" to attack. We have an 11 year old, and this behavior was absolutely unacceptable for our family's safety and our sanity. He was pack leader to our blind and deaf pug who was utterly defenseless to his "playing" and biting, pulling, barking, etc. and our cat, who was prone to being chased and assaulted on an hourly basis. He wasnt listening to us and I was tired of yelling and reprimanding to no avail. Theresa with VIP Pet Services was our last hope and final straw. We participated in the 10 week, in home training. We were impressed with Theresa's knowledge of dog behavior, proper techniques and calm, yet authoritative demeanor with our dog (and with us as we needed "training" too). We learned a lot of useful tools to curb our dog's anxiety to be in protect mode all the time, to stop the constant other pet aggression, mouthing and biting us, and a hundred other things we were all doing wrong. Our favorite lesson was "You get what you pet".... Overall, we were very happy with our dog's outcome. He is a work in progress, but we have the tools to build a confident, loving, awesome dog. Theresa is a wonderful teacher and we are happy to have utilized her services.

We hired Teresa to help us with our Golden Retriever puppy Sunny. We decided to go with the 8 week train at home program. We figured we needed as much training as the dog. It was a lot of work for a couple of senior citizens but Theresa was great. She was firm, patient, and flexible with the schedule. We are very pleased and are glad we decided to use her Services. I was having issues with my black lab Molly. She was very insecure, absolutely did not like other pets around and would pull you and drag you when you walked her. Once she spent three weeks with Theresa at VIP she has done a complete turnaround. She walks beside you and not in front of you. She can walk beside a dog and not be intimidated, she listens to commands such as place and come.

Recently, my Pomeranian, Spike and I graduated from "Very Important Pet Services (VIP Svs)". The training provided was excellent. Here is my story:
Spike was out of control (excessive barking, ankle biting and unwelcomed jumping. Unfortunately, I did not have the skills to manage his behavior. We were at the point where our friends did not want to visit because of Spike's behavior as well as my lack of control.
Better late than never It's time to get help. I contacted VIP Svs. Everything changed for Spike and me when an angel named Theresa came into our life. She gave me the tools I needed to calm Spike and change his bad behavior.It was a challenge and it required some practice, but the results were well worth it. Thanks to Theresa's experience, knowledge and caring, Spike behaves well and if we have a slip I now know how to manage his behavior. Spike is no longer the boss of me! LOL. Theresa, you are real professional. We love you.

VIP pet services is the dog trainer you should use. Theresa is knowledgeable and patient. After our sessions with VIP my life and my dog's life changed dramatically. Izzie (my 8 year old lab/border collie) was more confident. At first our daily walks were dreaded because she'd go nuts over any passerby, human or animal. She'd try to get out of the house before me, she'd take off (eventually come back), etc. Now we stroll around the block with no issue and tails a wagging. We are polite and wait our turn to enter and exit. I will continue to use VIPet Services anytime I need dog training. Thank you Theresa!!!!!

Recently we enrolled our 4 month Golden, Max, into Theresa's 2 week program. When he got home he had changed into a well behaved puppy (apparently there is such a thing). He now walks without pulling on his leash or stopping and smelling EVERYTHING. He's not wandering the house like he used to, he's a lot calmer and adheres to his "place" command. Theresa did a total reset with him and we're very thankful. She is truly a miracle worker!
