Growing up and being raised on a farm in upstate New York it was destiny to become involved with animals in my adulthood. My choice was to attend SUNY Canton to become a Veterinary Technician where I graduated with honors in 1984. After doing extensive research on different breeds of the canine species my first dog was a Rottweiler named Jaro. We became involved in AKC obedience competitions and Jaro was the ultimate social butterfly , taking him anywhere and everywhere. The obedience classes and competitions soon became an obsession not only with myself but Jaro as well. My interest in how dogs learned and the ability to connect one on one with these amazing animals became a major part of my existence. My serious hobby became integrated into my professional life as a Vet Tech when "problem" dogs came to our clinic....... it was then the customers were told " You need Theresa's help". Personally training dozens upon dozens of dogs while vet teching , not to mention a total of eight dogs of my own , I decided to take my many years of experience , passion and knowledge to start VIPET SERVICES. To help and instruct pet owners how awesome it is to have a well behaved dog in their every day life is priceless. Currently I own and train two dogs of my own in competitions on the local , regional and national levels. Andro, a Belgian Malinois , is currently mastering his nosework/scent discrimination while Alf the German Shepherd is aspiring in obedience and tracking venues. I am blessed to have these two loving well behaved boys in my daily routine. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have with your best friend for they truly deserve their own Very Important Pet Service !!
